In the deepest shadows of the forest night
Around the monolith the ancient ritual begins
Forgotten words and dark spells of old days
Praying and singing for the Dark Lady’s desire

The dawn awakes between dark shadows
Enlightening a woman lying on the crimson snow

The monolith turns to red as the blood starts to flow
Dyeing the altar of sacrifice with vital essence
Chants of elder monks hailing the newcomer’s soul
As a life left the land and its spirit left the earth

Frostbitten lips and crystallized eyes
Awake among the shadows, awake but dead
